The text and melody for "A Child's Lullaby" was originally created by Katie Haun Schuring and her three children. They sing this song every night at bedtime. Katie wanted to preserve this beautiful melody by having it notated and turned into a round. Piano accompaniment was added to bring more texture to the song. The first verse is sung in unison. The second time the first verse is in canon and then continues on with the following verses.
